Quadra Island is situated on the east coast of central Vancouver Island 15 minutes by Ferry from Campbell River. Quadra Island is in the north-central island region and is within easy reach of Vancouver and Victoria on the west coast of British Columbia, Canada. The recreational activity opportunities on and around Quadra Island are limitless. Quadra Island is covered with second-growth forest dotted with huge veteran old-growth trees. There are surging tidal rapids with excellent salmon fishing and scuba diving (such as HMCS Columbia artificial reef or Whisky Point). Pebble beaches, protected bays, channels and deep fjords make the island vistas incredible. You can sail, kayak, hike, mountain bike, canoe, dive, wake board, water ski, and boat on Quadra Island. You will not want for something to do."Take a hike" in one of the five Provincial Parks located on the Island
