yards from the back tees.Port Alberni's only course is bordered by towering
trees and follows the contours of Cherry Creek.Lush green fairways, a variety

Alberni a course you should stop and play. Alberni's signature hole (#8)
is 393 yards with a large water hazard to the right of the fairway and Cherry

Course is a challenging and beautiful layout. It features two 90 degree
doglegs. The second hole bends to the right giving the golfer an early par
5 attempt. The seventh hole which is a par 4, corners to the left and demands

built, and operated by the Kaese family, the Cottonwood Golf Course is
18 holes set amongst panoramic views of the costal mountains and rural
terrain. The course lies 12 kilometers south of Nanaimo close to the Airport.
Golfers must pay attention as the course progresses, it becomes more challenging
with water, sand and trees to test you. The 1th hole is a 141 yard par
three that is as difficult and beautiful. Players must shoot across a
large lake to reach the green well protected by sand and mature trees.
The creeping bent grass greens average around 6000 square feet and contain
many subtle undulations. Great scenery and challenging holes. (public)

Cowichan Golf and Country Club is 6189 yards long course is a par 70 with
many tight fairways lined with trees. The course also features views of
Cowichan Bay and the surrounding mountains.The original 9 holes was laid
out in 1947 by A.V. McCann and the last nine opened in 1985, designed by
club member, Ken Worthington. The course is relatively flat throughout with
some gentle sloping fairways and fast undulating greens. The signature hole
is the 11th, which is played over a ravine and has an elevated green guarded

The terrain
is flat and tree-lined fairways are a major feature in the design. Water
hazards come into play on several holes. The greens are sloped toward the
ocean, which is only about two miles away. The signature hole is #1, a 410-yard,
par 4, which requires a good tee shot to the dogleg left fairway, which
is tree lined. A creek sits in front of the hole, which adds to the difficulty.

This course has three par 3's and six par 4's for a total of 2439 yards.

oldest course in British Columbia. In 1981, the municipality of Qualicum
Beach purchased the golf course from the late R. A. Brown of Calgary, Alberta.

Storey
Creek Golf Course, situated 14 kms south of Campbell River, is in a unique
natural setting. Eighteen unique holes with a variety of challenges and
water in play on 11 holes. The course, designed by Les Furber, offers a
choice of four tee boxes depending on your level of play. Each fairway is
enclosed in forest giving a sense of solitude and tranquillity. In fact,
oftentimes, one feels like he is playing on his own private course, rarely
catching glimpses of other foursomes. Of the eighteen holes there are five
par 3, five par 5 and eight par 4, a little different than the traditional
make-up of a par 72 course. Carved out of dense coniferous and deciduous
forest with creeks meandering alongside and dissecting fairways, Storey
Creek flourishes as a sanctuary for many species of flora and fauna.

Sandwick Golf Club. Discover a pleasant 18 hole golf course set within the
scenic Comox Valley. With snow capped mountains in the distance (including
the Comox Glacier), golfers play across level to gently rolling terrain,
bordered by large Douglas fir trees. Some of these fairways play extremely
narrow and some of the greens are small, so the need for accuracy ic clear.
